Now up and running, The SATGURU PARTAP SINGH APOLLO HOSPITAL, is a modern 300 bed hospital with multi disciplinary super specialty facilities and state of the art medical equipment. This project was a  vision of Satguru Pratap Singh Ji. The dream has been bought to realization by the blessing of Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh JiHH Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji Maharaj opens the hospital in march 2005

The modern architectural designed  hospital stands out at Sherpur Chowk, GT Road, Ludhiana. This multi-disciplinary super specialty hospital has been set up by Apollo group of Hospitals at a cost of over  Rs 75 crore. It is build on a five-acre plot, donated by the Namdharis.

The foundation stone was laid by the present Namdhari sect chief, Satguru Jagjit Singh on October 28, 2000 with the then Union Home Minister, Mr L.K. Advani, as the chief guest at the function. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr Parkash Singh Badal, also attended the function.

The hospital will employ over 1000 personnel, including contract labour but excluding consultants which includes medical, paramedical and other non medical staff. It is expected to generate an annual income of Rs 48.28 crore at 100 per cent utilization. It is expected to reach the break-even level of operation at 58 per cent capacity. However, the cash break-even level stands at 47 per cent.

On completion It would provide totality of healthcare and facilities, available anywhere in the world. The hospital, he added, would be a perfect combination of best of medical talent and state of the art diagnostic and treatment technology.

According to Dr Reddy, himself an eminent cardiologist, the core areas of specialization in the hospital would be cardiology and cardio thoracic surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, nephrology, urology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, obstetrics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, ENT, dentistry, general medicine and general surgery.

   


BACKGROUND of Apollo Hospitals:
